Fused Glass Workshop — Further Information

What to expect/what’s included

  • Small group experience

    Enrolment is limited to six people per class to ensure that each participant receives individual attention and assistance.

  • No previous experience working with glass? It doesn't matter!

    You will learn the basics of glass cutting and assembly plus an overview of the fusing process.

  • Materials & tools

    All specialist fusing glass, tools and consumables are included.

    You will be able to choose your design and colours from a wide selection of speciality fusing glass as well as some pre-fired decorative elements.

  • Workshop venue

    The workshop is held in the historic Millthorpe School of Arts building, the permanent home of Millthorpe Creative Arts.

    The gallery will be open to visitors on the day, with the workshop held in a separate room.

    Access: Via front steps or ramp at the side of the building

  • What to wear/bring

    Please wear closed in shoes and wear old comfortable clothes

    Safety glasses will be provided.

  • Refreshments

    Venue is equipped with a kitchen and microwave.

  • Morning and afternoon tea are provided. Please bring your lunch or there are several places in the village where you can purchase lunch.

  • Booking, payment and cancellations

    Payment can be made using Paypal or by bank transfer. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please email (springsideglass@gmail.com) or text me (0418848581) for bank details.

    A booking is confirmed on receipt of payment.

    Cancellations will be accepted and a full refund provided up to 7 days before the date of the workshop. Thereafter, a refund of 50% of the course fee will be provided.

    You may transfer your place on the course to another person if you are unable to attend at short notice.
